Green - The New Color of Luxury

Here’s a partial list of Green Building practices we currently employ.

  • We recycle nearly 75% of our construction waste through our partner, City Wide Recycling.
  • We use the best insulation available, including spray-foam and other new products, to minimize energy use.
  • We utilize cementitious siding and wall shingles, which are made in part with recycled materials.
  • We specify high-efficiency furnaces and boiler systems, and use zones to control energy use.
  • Our designs maximize use of natural light, which reduces energy costs for artificial lighting.
  • We specify low-voltage lighting, which uses less energy and still retains a high light quality.
  • Depending on the design, we use stainless steel or concrete countertops, which can be recycled or re-used.
  • We specify energy-saving setback programmable thermostats.
  • We use reclaimed materials like brick or wood timbers as each design allows.
  • We use engineered wood products, which are more sustainable and do not require the harvesting of long-growth cycle trees.
  • We use fast-growing, sustainable woods like Birch, Poplar, and Pine wherever possible.

Check back soon as we will continue to lead the way for custom builders and remodelors by producing the area’s finest homes using the highest-quality, yet responsible and sustainable, building materials and techniques.
